Gulliver Releases Principles of Social Science, Volume 7
The Upper School Social Science Department has released Principles of Social Science, Volume 7 — a journal of history, politics, economics, and society.
Student editors Alessia Bianco ‘20, Lauren Garcia-Stille ‘21, Joao Carvalho ‘21, Sabrina Sharma ‘21, and Isabel Cuellar ‘21 worked with Dr. Christopher Calvo, Social Sciences faculty member, to select student articles for yearly publication. Students wrote about topics that interested them, including the Chernobyl disaster, women in the Russian Revolution, Misty Copeland, and more. Faculty member Mr. Patrick Griffin contributed with an introductory note on Black History Month essays, and Anabelle Kang ‘20 designed this year’s cover.
