What are you up to these days?

I am the owner of a growing dental practice Nuvo Dental Arts in Coconut Grove with a mission to serve my community and provide our patients with an exceptional experience through advanced technology and quality dentistry.

What do you like about the work you are doing now? Describe your career path.

I love to help people and fixing people’s smiles is one of the most rewarding things to do. A smile is usually one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. Helping people have the smile they’ve always wanted is what it’s all about!

Is there anything you learned during your time at Gulliver Prep that you feel was helpful in your life after Gulliver?

The relationships you have with the people around you are far more important than anything else. Keeping good friends and family close are what makes a difference.

Are there any Gulliver teachers or coaches you credit as having positively influenced you?

Three people come to mind when I think of my time at Gulliver. First is Mrs. Anderson, who taught us how to dream, Miss O’Toole, who taught us how to be adults and treated us as such, and Coach Delang, who showed us how to work hard and have fun at the same time.

What is one of your favorite memories from your time at Gulliver Prep?

Definitely has to be around Homecoming. Getting to dress down, and having fun with your friends and family made for some of the best times of my life.

As a Gulliver Prep alum, what advice would you give to current students?

If you keep working hard, and use the skills that you learn at Gulliver, you will be able to make your dreams come true!
