Each fall, thousands of talented students across Florida audition for the prestigious opportunity to join the Florida Music Educators’ Association (FMEA) All-State Music Ensembles. This year, three exceptional musicians from Gulliver Preparatory School have earned spots among the very best in the state, and represented the school at the highly regarded FMEA Convention in Tampa this month.

Brooke Lowry ‘26 – Concert Orchestra, Viola
Kaveen Chainani ‘26 – High School Mixed Chorus
Zachary Krys ‘30 – Middle School Jazz Band, Electric Guitar

Being selected for the FMEA All-State Music Ensemble is a remarkable achievement, marking these students as some of the top young musicians in Florida. Once chosen, they join an elite group that has been recognized for their outstanding talent, commitment, and skill.

The FMEA Convention is one of the most significant events for music students in the state, bringing together top performers for a four-day music festival. During the festival, students will rehearse under the guidance of world-class conductors, performing complex and high-quality repertoire in front of an audience of music educators from across Florida and beyond. This experience offers unparalleled opportunities for growth, collaboration, and recognition in the music world.

We congratulate Brooke, Kaveen, and Zachary for their dedication and hard work!
