The purpose of the Speech and Debate Camp is to provide experience in public speaking and debate fundamentals, resulting in a tournament-style Public Forum debate to apply their skills in a competitive setting. This summer course is designed to support students (rising 7th grade to rising 9th graders) interested in competing at speech and debate tournaments throughout the year, as well as those looking to develop a deeper understanding of debating.

- Constructing Arguments and Rebuttals
- Practice Debates and Feedback Sessions
- Tournament-style Public Forum Debates
Outcomes:
- Students will develop foundational skills in public speaking and debate.
- Each student will participate in a tournament-style Public Forum debate to showcase their learning and compete in a fun, competitive environment.
- Emphasis on building confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills.
