U.S. Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27) has announced Gulliver Prep’s Enzo Paesano ’26 as the winner of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge for Florida’s 27th District. Enzo’s winning app, Volunteers for Seniors, helps combat senior loneliness by connecting seniors with local volunteers—a concept inspired by his grandfather’s own experiences.
As winner of this year’s Challenge, Enzo continues Gulliver’s legacy of inspirational thinkers, catalysts of change, and innovators who are using their skills to make the world a better place. He recently traveled to Washington, D.C., to present his app at the U.S. Capitol during the annual #HouseOfCode Festival, joining fellow national winners in showcasing the power of student-led innovation.
This marks yet another milestone for Gulliver Prep in the Congressional App Challenge, reflecting our school’s continued commitment to academic excellence, social responsibility, and real-world impact through STEM.
