Gulliver Preparatory School is proud to announce its nominees for the 2022-23<\/span>\u00a0Miami Herald\/el Nuevo Herald<\/span><\/span><\/i>\u00a0Silver Knight Awards, one of the nation’s most highly regarded student awards programs. This year, Gulliver boasts 13 candidates across a wide range of categories:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nDrama<\/strong> – Ian Gill \u2018<\/span>23
\nEnglish & Literature<\/strong> – Isabella Luna Mejia \u2018<\/span>23
\nGeneral Scholarship<\/strong> – Victoria Paesano \u2018<\/span>23
\nJournalism<\/strong> – Ava Seymour \u2018<\/span>23
\nMathematics<\/strong> – Naomi Dreicer Liberman \u2018<\/span>23
\nMusic & Dance<\/strong> – Alessandra Pe\u00f1a \u2018<\/span>23
\nScience<\/strong> – Gabrielle Gleason \u2018<\/span>23
\nSocial Science<\/strong> – Lindsay Roth \u2018<\/span>23
\nSpeech<\/strong> – Maya Gowda \u2018<\/span>23
\nVocational Technical<\/strong> – Emiliano Hernandez Posada \u2018<\/span>23
\nWorld Languages<\/strong> – Thomas Suarez \u2018<\/span>23<\/p>\n

Since 2011, four Gulliver students have been named Silver Knight Award winners in their respective categories, and 10 have earned Honorable Mention nods. Last year, Bella Peterson \u201822 was named winner of the English and Literature category and John Ryan Schappert \u201822 earned Honorable Mention honors for the Mathematics category.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Miami Herald\/el Nuevo Herald<\/span><\/i> Silver Knight Awards program recognizes outstanding students who have maintained their academics while unselfishly applying their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities. Nominees will be honored and winners will be announced at a ceremony held on Thursday, May 25, 2023.<\/p>\n
